Ira Fateman, CFP®, M.Ed  is a Principal with SAS Financial Advisors, LLC.  Ira is a financial planner, financial advisor, and investment manager.  He is a “fee-only” advisor who has over 15 years experience.  In addition his background includes psychotherapy and counseling in schools and community settings.  An Investment Advisor and Financial Planner since 1999, Mr. Fateman holds a Personal Financial Planning certificate from the University of California Berkeley Extension, where he also serves as an instructor. He teaches regularly at “Parent’s Place” and other community settings.  He is an active member of the Financial Planning Association, San Francisco Chapter. With Maurice Kamins, he trains financial advisory firms in “Relationship Management:” skills.  Mr. Fateman earned a B.S. from Cornell University in Industrial and Labor Relations and an M.Ed. in Counseling from Northeastern University.
